High Costs and Broken Promises

Rural Advantage Is Slipping Away

For generations, we chose Eastern Washington because our dollar went further, our families were safer, and our way of life was independent. We didn't mind the hard work as long as we could afford the life we built.

But today, that "Rural Advantage" is slipping away. The reality at our kitchen tables and in our machine sheds is that we are paying "Big City" prices for rural services that are disappearing.

Washington state residents are facing some of the highest cost-of-living increases in the nation.

If you feel like you're working harder for less, it’s because you are. We are being taxed and priced out of our own hometowns because Federal policies favor corporations over individuals.

Inflation is killing the "Rural Advantage"

Property Rights & The Right to Repair

You Bought It. Why Can't You Fix It?

In Eastern Washington, we believe in self-reliance. If a machine breaks during a harvest window, you grab a wrench and get to work. But "Big Ag" and "Big Tech" monopolies have been allowed to strip you of your property rights.

●      Software Locks on Tractors: Modern tractors are loaded up with "software locks." You are forced to wait for an "authorized dealer" to plug in a laptop and charge you $1,000 just to clear a code.

●      The Parts Tax: The cost of basic replacement parts has surged by 25% since 2022. You should have the right to repair your own equipment.

●      Private Property: Hard working Americans believe in private property. If you aren't allowed to fix your $500,000 combine, do you really own it?

The Farm Table Crisis

(Minimum Advertised Price)

Negative Profitability: Experts project a -$111 per acre loss for many wheat farmers this year. We need  representation in DC that supports American farmers by creating open markets while reducing costs.

Farming is the backbone of Eastern WA, and deserves national recognition. While you’re paying record prices for fertilizer, seed, parts and equipment, which erodes their profit margins.

 Healthcare & Housing

●      Hospital Deserts: 1 in 3 rural hospitals in our region are at risk of closing by the end of 2026. When your local ER closes, you aren't just losing a service, such as maternity or long term care, you will pay higher premiums for worse access and service.

●      The Housing Gap: Our children are being priced out of their own towns. With home prices skyrocketing, the "American Dream" they speak of is a luxury for the few.

Fiscal Conservatism

Your bills are higher, and the American Dream is out of reach.

Abandoning our rural infrastructure abandons Americas domestic food production and puts our nation at risk. Now is the time to act, we must protect our farmers and we must protect our wallets!
